Yanks select Pena
This just in from the Yankees’ Media Relations department:
Following today’s game, the Yankees selected INF Ramiro Pena and reassigned
INF Angel Berroa to minor league camp. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Yankees designated
RHP Dan Giese for assignment. Pena will wear #19.

I guess Pena made the most of his time at ST when Jeter was gone.

Pena plays good D. I guess he’ll go in during blowouts to give Jeet a rest.
YES!!!!! I WANTED HIM TO MAKE IT. Good luck to Angel Berroa I belive he will be back in the majors soon. Go Yankees. Also I am so excited to get out to the Bronx this summer to see them play the Red Sox.
