The Yankees broadcasters on the YES network commented tonight about the players who have been with the Seattle Mariners (A-Rod, Ken Griffey Junior & Randy Johnson) without the Mariners winning a “World Champonship”. Quess what, the Yankees have never won a “World Champoinship” either. I am disgusted by the arrogance of major league baseball broadcasters’ continued claims that the World Series somehow constitutes a World Championship! Take a look at a world atlas. North America does not constitute “the world” Major league baseball teams continue to rape third world countries of their talent but refuse to acknowledge that those countries play for anything other than an exhibition series they call the World Baseball “Classic” It’s far more of a World Championship than the World Series.
