Angel Berroa? Joe, what are you thinking?? We’re trying to beat the Red Sox record of 17 straight errorless games, and you put Berroa at third? Oh well, there went that record.
Good to see Melky back in the game.

GOOD ONE GIRADI, there goes are errorless game record, why on earth is berroa in the lineup, much less on the team!? get rid of this guy. What’s wrong with pena?
I agree Berroa is simply wasting a roster spot. Pena is a much better defender and should be at 3rd. The Yankees need a strong bat off the bench. They should drop Berroa and bring Shelly Duncan back up.
berroa needs to go, we only need pena. Not only is he horrible on the field, he really isn’t good with the bat. It’s a waste of at bats.
Berroa can hit better than Pena. He is trying to win the series and not set some innocuous record. Berroa will hit for 7 innings and if we have a lead, Pena will help hold it down with his defense. Left handed pitcher gives Berroa a good reason to play.
Joe is doing a fine job. I wish everyone would not constantly assume that they could do better.
And Shelly can’t hit in the big leagues. He can’t hit a major league curve ball. We’ve seen what he can do up on this level and he is not worth the spot on the 40-man roster…even though I love his attitude and spirit.
